I love the hanging baskets. I imagine that inside the walled garden is a glorious orchard of ancient fruit trees.
I think you are right. I'll bet that is exactly what is back there, plus a table and chairs for relaxing in the early evening eating dinner and chatting happily. It is always happy in the cottages isn't it?
