Hi all

Thanks for all your kind words on my previous post and it's now Tuesday evening and yes I am feeling quite a bit better. Still having some trouble sleeping but nothing too major.

My biggest problem right now is that I fried my notebook and this is the first opportunity I have had to commandeer Rory's lenovo and check in here. Excess Skyping (you know who you are) me thinks. I hate Rory's 'puter so I can't wait to hear whether the warranty will cover mine or whether I have to shell out money for a new one - this latter option would be problematic seeing as I have no money after blowing it all on my new vehicle.

Rory has graciously 'allowed' me access for an hour, so after posting this I'll have a quick scan of blogs to catch up a wee bit before I check my personal email etc and use up my quota of time. This is weird posting via blogger rather than through Windows Live Writer as I normally would but there's no time to set that up here today.

I'll be back as soon as circumstances allow - anyone wanting to donate to my new laptop fund should email me for my bank account (kidding obviously).

Later all, hugs, Lou

  1. Vehicles are excellent ways to waste money, and there seem to be no end of it either. How 'fun'... I soon have to let my car undergo a major service and some engine work as well. I'm already dreading the cost...
So a new laptop for you? ahh I won't even notice that cost! :)

    Hope you get well soon!

  2. Aw, Lou!
Tell Rory you need more TIME, please! From us? Ya never know when a trip to the states may happen and & a tourguide/bodyguard may be in order....
An hour isn't nearly long enough!!
Hope your computer is fixable...and soon!

  3. I like your post.
    Have a nice day.

  4. Glad you're back.
Maybe you can barter with Rory for more time on the computer. A load of laundry for an extra hour?
    Might be worth a try!

  5. Everyone has their price. What is his? Cookies? If he is a teen male then he must sleep 20 hours a day. Lots of time for you to use it. Doesn't he know how important we all are?

  6. Lou, you are not getting any breaks lately! I'm glad you are back.

  7. I am glad you are feeling better. I hope everything works out for you and your computer soon. I am also having computer issues as well! I wonder if this is a Republican plot to stop liberal thought?

  8. Ahh Lou I leave the country for several days and you fall down, fry your computer and leave me the most poignant comment on my blog. Be well dear NZ friend - hopefully you will be back as I have returned and doing my best to catch up.

I didn't realize how parallel our lives have been.

  9. Lou - I have to learn to read my comments when I am awake - I confused someone else's comment with you - silly me. Still hoping you are feeling better and no parallels that I know of cept my love for NZ!!!

  10. Hope your feeling better soon.

Make my day and leave a comment. C'mon you can do it.
