Count your blessings

I just finished reading the story of American Roey Rosenblith who was a passenger on the almost ill fated Northwest Airlines flight 253 to Detroit. It’s a chilling recount of confusion, lack of information and eventual realisation. It’s well worth the longish read if you haven’t done so already.

  1. It was hard for me to breathe in parts of this story. I can only imagine how hard it was for them.
I have no patience for people who complain when there are extra security precautions taken. The greater good means they have to check deeper and deeper. So what if someone sees an outline of my naked body. It is their retinas that are going to burn, not mine.

  3. Wow - thanks for sharing. Must give hubby hell - he reads Huffington and never saw this (men geesh!!). Awesome recount and I was glad to see that the Dutch Security was in fact spot on --- prior to reading I was mentally blaming them.

Two things I took from this was the "people" asking for their lawyers - give me a break!!!! And the last two paragraphs -- yes this man had the chance to improve the world not destroy a small section. May he never see the light of day again!!!
